Obituary for Marie Doiron

1930 – 2019
Marie Jeannine Doiron, 88, of Castel des Flots Bleus, Cap–Pelé passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont UHC. Born in Haute–Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Exelda (Melanson) Boudreau.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Doiron of Cap–Pelé; by her nine children, Claudette Vautour (Louis Bourque) of Cap–Pelé, Jeannette Gagné (late Fernand) of Cap–Pelé, Russel (Rose) of Cap–Pelé, Gérald (Marjorie) of Miramichi, Hélène Léger (Bernard) of Cap–Pelé, Jacqueline Richard (André) of Cap–Pelé, Alice Porelle (Edgar) of Cap–Pelé, Hector (Linda) of Cap–Pelé and Bernadette McGraw (Léo) of Cormier Village; her two sisters, Bernadette Belliveau (Fred) and Andréa LeBlanc (Lévi) all of Haute Aboujagane; her three brothers, Euclide Boudreau (Yvette) of Petit Cap, Donald Boudreau (Murielle Després) of Grand Barachois and Fernando Boudreau (Rose–Marie ) of Haute Aboujagane; her three sisters–in–law, Exelda Boudreau of Shediac, Émilia Boudreau and Exelda Boudreau both of Cap–Pelé; her seventeen grandchildren; her twenty–one great grand children; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Hubert and Réginald, her siblings: Gérald, Doris Petitpas (late Georges), Alfred (late Léona), Laurie, Noël and Florida Richard (late Albert).

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road Cap–Pelé on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday from 9:15 am till time of departure at 10:15 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste–Thérèse–d’Avila Roman Catholic church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap–Pelé on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10:30 am.

In memory of Marie Jeannine, a contribution to the Ste–Thérèse–d’Avila parish cemetery would be appreciated.

A special thank you to the staff of Castel des Flots Bleus, the Extra–Mural Nurses, the staff of palliative care unit of Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont UHC and Dr. Marc Cormier for the wonderful care that Marie Jeannine received.
