Obituary for Edythe Storey

It is with sadness the family of Edythe Maewood (Aiton) Storey announces her peaceful passing at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on December 2, 2019 at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late Heber Storey and the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Aiton.

Edythe is survived by her son, Harry Storey (Donalda) of Berwick; her daughter, Jane MacKinnon (Vernon) of Fredericton and her son, John Storey (Kim) of Berwick; her grandchildren: Tommy Storey (Heather) of Roacvhille, Holly Lackie (Derek) of Jordan Mountain and Ashley Storey of Berwick; two great grandchildren: Brooke and Colton Storey; as well as a niece, Kath and several nephews.

Along with her parents and husband Heber, Edythe was predeceased by her brother, Murray Aiton (Dorothy); her sisters: Grace Uhrig (Jerry) and Helen Cotton (Ernest) and by her grandson, Nathan Storey.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7:30 to 9:00pm. A Celebration of Edythe’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 1:00pm. Interment will be held in Roachville Cemetery in the spring.

Donations in memory of Edythe may be made to the Roachville Cemetery or to the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
