Obituary for Maria Metti

1928 - 2020
Maria Metti, 91, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Monfumo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Fortunato and the late Drusiana (née: Sagrilo) Cadorin.

Mrs. Metti enjoyed gardening; a passion of hers was the cultivation of her flowers and raisins. She was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish.

She is survived by five daughters: Gianinna (late Paul) Babineau, Gilda (Kenny) Little, Floriana LeBlanc (Norm), Bepina (Ron) Richard and Santina (Rob) Henry; one son, Basilio “Buzz” (Ann); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tredicesimo in 2005; one son, Floriano and also by several brothers and sisters.
No visitation prior to the service.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Friday, January 24th, 2020 at 11:30 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.
