Obituary for Gavin Dempsey

1941 - 2020
Gavin J. Dempsey, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on February 8, 2020, at the age of 78. Born in Jacquet River, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Mildred Dempsey.

Gavin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernice, his daughters, Shelly MacNevin (Dennis), Christine Dempsey (Steve Scott), Donna Dempsey (JP Robichaud); grandchildren, Kevin, Allyson, Ashley, Bryanne, Austin, Madison and Jake; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Grace, Elvira, Jaxon, Keegan, and Georgia. He is also survived by his brothers, Eugene and Douglas Dempsey and sister-in-law, Leona Dempsey.

In addition to his parents, Gavin was predeceased by his siblings, JR, Floyd and Francis.

By personal request, no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Cemetery on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530. The family invites you to send online condolences to www.fairhavenmemorial.ca
