Obituary for Marguerite Munn

The family of Marguerite Pansy Munn of Fredericton, NB are saddened by her passing on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB, following a short, painful cancer diagnosis. Marguerite was born on July 5, 1927 in Upper Blackville, NB to the late Thomas and Lena Arbeau.

Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Estella (Bryan) MacDonald, Fredericton, NB, Diane (Andy) Sullivan, Penniac, NB, and son, Terry (Jennifer) Munn of Noonan, NB; son-in-law , Ken (Patti) Hamilton of Ladysmith, BC; grandchildren, Derrick (Carrie) MacDonald, Denise MacDonald, Amanda (Jeff) Arbeau, Bradley (Beth) Sullivan, Penny Hamilton, Patti (Troy) Forster and Jimmy Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Rachel MacDonald, Kailyn and Jael Arbeau, Katherine, Stephen and Grace Hamilton, Hannah and Isabelle Forster; step great grandchildren, Hannah and Grace Perrins; brother, Lewis (Gail) Arbeau; sisters-in-law, Marion, Maisie and Freda Arbeau, Zelda and Elaine Munn and Joyce Cairns; brothers-in-law, Calvin and James Munn; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews.

Marguerite was predeceased by her husband Kail (2004), a daughter, Shirley (Ken) Hamilton (2007) as well as brothers, Miller, Hubert (Doris), Phil (Sharon), Perley, Marven, and Alfred; sisters, Bernetta (Horace) Jewett, Doreen (Clarence) Gilmore, Martha and Edna; parents-in-law, Frank and Hazel Munn; sisters-in-law, Clara (Ron) McAlwee, Emma Munn; brothers in-law, Percy (Ethel), Oscar (Alice), David Munn and Bertram Cairns.

Arrangements are entrusted to York Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Capital Community Church on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 12 noon to 1:45 with service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at the United Pentecostal Cemetery in Doaktown, NB, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, monitory donations would be appreciated to the place she dearly loved - Capital Community Church, Fredericton as well as Hospice House Fredericton, or any charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
