Obituary for George McPhee

Mr. George McPhee of Mt Hebron passed away peacefully at home and was reunited with the love of his life on February 17, 2020 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Albert and Helen (Lucas) McPhee.

He will live on in the hearts of his children: Judy Ross of Fredericton, Kathy McPhee-ONeill (Mike) of Sussex, Larry McPhee of Saint John and Michael McPhee (Emma Jenkins) of PEI; his daughter-in-law, Barb McPhee of Saint John; his grandchildren: Cassie Ross (Fane Gallant), Chelsea Ross (Dallas Walsh), Ben Ross, Stephanie Taylor (Dr. Luke Taylor), Shawn O’Neill (Laura), Laura McPhee, Brendan McPhee, Lucas McPhee and Dominick Jenkins; five great-grandchildren: Dryden, Sophie, Owen, Max and Emma; as well as many extended family and friends.

Along with his parents, George is predeceased by the love of his life, Phyllis; an infant daughter and his companions: Cookie and Candy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). A Celebration of George’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 4:00pm. The Zion Lodge # 21 Sussex Chapter will hold a tribute on Friday at 3:00pm.

For those who wish donations in memory of George may be made to the Kirk Hill Cemetery, Kiwanis Foundation or the Shriners Hospital.
