Condolence: I met Art while working at KAVV radio in Benson, Arizona. That was back in 1982 or so. He would stop by every morning I was working and bring donuts or something. We'd visit, and fast became good friends. I got involved with him with projects for the Lions Club, and our friendship continued for many years until we simply lost touch after he left Benson. I've often thought about him through the years, and what a great friendship we had. He'd give you the shirt off his back to help you and was always there to support me during rough times I had with my marriage. I will never forget him! I'm only sorry to find out today, Feb 4, 2017, that he passed away. I have no doubt there is a very special place in Heaven for this man. I'm sure he's walking his sweet little poodle that he loved so much back then. Anyone in the family that wishes, feel free to contact me. I live in Tucson. Rest In Peace Art!
