When I first moved to Benson AZ, I didn't know a soul outside my family, Art and Carol were the first to befriend me.  I thought they were such odd people, a  divorced couple hanging out as friends, in my little young mind at that time it was just so strange.    Art did so many sweet things to help me feel welcome and loved.   Art knew I felt lonely and lost back then, just recently having gone through a horribly ugly divorce myself.  He used to tell me he would be my forever friend, and that I would never truly be alone because he would always be my friend.  We did so many fun things together,  I  remember many trips to Tucson a whole group of us to go dancing, or dinner with friends at his house.  Many times just sitting at the bar chatting about nothing and everything.

Arthur, it truly has been a very long time since I have seen you, but I never have forgotten!  You made a big difference in my world!  Thank you, so much!!!  I will always miss you!  I love you Art!!!
