A great man
When I first stepped foot in a mill, green as heck I was put as Charlie's off bearer instead of the green chain because it was full. I remember Charlie just being calm and collective even though we were buried as far as I could see and it just didn't seem to bother him, he knew we would eventually be caught up. I would constantly try to basically get in the way and try to help and he would say it's ok I got it. That man out worked guys half his age till the day that mill burnt down. Then just a couple years later he was running my saws and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better sawyer. Always cared if something wasn't right or if he screwed up a saw. I am so sorry for your loss he was a great caring man and just always a pleasure he will surely be missed.
