MEMORIES ABOUT CHARLES DAVID WHITNEY

From the very first time I met Charles, it was obvious he was in love with my cousin Gladys. From the day they married, I watched them have a wonderful marriage, raising two beautiful children together, and surviving all good and bad things that came along with living on this earth. Charles loved his family with passion. Every day I knew him, he lived his life serving Jesus as his Saviour. The funniest thing I ever remember about Charles, was the shock on my face the first time I saw him in his speedo swimming while his wife, my husband and I were on vacation together. Charles was a conservative man, except when he went swimming, where he did not like the trappings of heavy swim trunks to weigh him down. I will remember Charles with fondness, and a smile. My heart goes out to his children, and my cousin Gladys. I know we all will see Charles again one day.
