To Mrs. Adams’ family, The Chang family is very saddened to hear of your loss. My father, Dr. Richard Hsiao Chang, anaesthesiologist, worked with Mrs. Adams for a long time at the Jewish General Hospital. I also had the pleasure of working with her, as a surgical aide (summer relief) in the Operating Room for many years. My father and I admired Mrs. Adams’ strength as well as her integrity and respect that she held for all who crossed her path. As my career in healthcare led me into progressive leadership positions, I fondly recall a moment when I sought her advice.
