I was saddened to learn of Ms. Sheila’s passing. All of us who took any of her classes at Knox College loved her. Her integrity and her scholarship inspired many people. I believe she impacted the lives of all of her students, not only as a teacher, but as a counselor, guide, and friend. I had not seen her for many years, but the last time I saw her, aside from a few gray hairs, she hadn’t really changed much. She still had that vibrant personality and great energy. And she still had encouraging things to say. My relationship with Ms. Sheila started long before Knox. I spent countless days/nights at her home. Travelled with her on outings to visit her mother and I will never forget those wonderful trips to Milk River Baths! I was a beneficiary of her love for sewing and I remember well all those adorable outfits she made me as a little girl. Ms. Sheila was also excellent at meal preps – I always looked forward to having “jack” at Sabbath dinners at her home. I will never forget her - what a great lady! “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.” Melodie, Mark and families, your mom’s kindness, generosity, and caring nature was contagious and her memory will live on forever. Please accept heartfelt condolences. With Fond Memories, Marion McPherson-Davis
