Dear Family, Basilian Fathers, Friends, and Former Parishioners and Students of Fr Cyril! We offer our prayers and condolences on his passing into eternal life. We came to know Fr Cyril during his 20 years in Ottawa, and thank God for parish growth during his time here. Fr. Mark Zazula's eulogy was spot on (although we didn't think Fr Cyril was "long-winded", here, in Ottawa :). Among other things, what will continue to inspire is that Fr Cyril chose to "enjoy his retirement" by taking on pastoral duties that were every bit as demanding as his pre-retirement duties. And he did this for 20 years! Vichnaya pamiat'!
